Boxed In - In the Strings” series, I use a marionette as muse to explore some of the states of mind of growing up female in the 1970's and 1980's. In spite of some advances in reproductive rights, pay and equality under the law in the last 50 years, women reside in a precarious environment... the meager advances of the last century constantly threatened with becoming undone. We’re still boxed in.
