Art is the way I make sense of the world. A world in which I was born into a family of ten children.

Family and friends and experiences inspire and invigorate the narrative in my art. My work has taken on a new dimension and passion ever since I adopted a renewed philosophy to create about the world I live in. Life lessons can only be learned by truly living in the world which is filled with endless possibilities. Experiences that widen your vision and allow you to see more of what life has to of

fer each of us. My artistic foundation has been fortified by the thirty years I have spent in the graphic design industry. The use of space, both positive and negative, shape my subject. Line weight and variation are a part of the visual vocabulary I have created. The quality of brush stroke and texture of a surface provide spirit to my subject, color provides the soul.
