In addition to our current solo show “Nature Naturing”, we are also showcasing select works by Katina Huston. These are all framed works, protecting the delicate layers of ink and watercolor on mylar paper. Happy Friday! As part of Bernd Haussmann’s solo show “Nature Naturing”, we are featuring some of his mixed media on rubber pieces. These beautiful works are smaller than others in the show, yet just as impactful with their varying textures that create peaks and valleys. The silver pigments pool in these veins, creating shadowed channels for which the light to reflect from. Stop by now through May 31st to view them in person!

Spotlight on silver!

We have a number of shining pieces by Bernd Haussmann in the gallery. Pictured here is “From The Nature of Things #2929”. An impressive mixed media painting, it is reminiscent of cyanotype prints. Each concentration of darkness looks as though the sun has burned through the canvas, revealing details of blue, gold, and soft red that rest underneath the etchings and layered paint.
