Now on view through March 27 - Richard Sheehan: Sun and Shadow. This is a select group of paintings from the 1980s and 90s by this master of the urban landscape. Sheehan (1953-2006) was drawn to the gritty roadways and overpasses along Boston's Expressway, portraying his scenes in gestural brushstrokes and vibrant colors, and creating a push/pull between abstraction and representation.
