My daughter’s class had a field trip to my studio today! I’m not going to pretend they created masterpieces but I do know they had tons of fun. 3 year olds are CUTE!!!!

Day 2 of was equally as lively and lovely as day 1! Thanks to all the visitors that came, created, supported and hung out. I am touched so many of my friends and kids’ classmates came to participate. And soooo honored to have seen familiar faces from last year that came back to make more art with me.

I will always try to participate in and if you see my name on the list- just know I’m offering a free activity for all ages! So add this event to your radar: first weekend of May annually.

Recap! Yesterday at was filled with friends and chaos. Thank you to all the people that came to visit and took time to make a mosaic! I love seeing and feeling the joy of making art and I think these photos capture it perfectly!

This weekend is Needham open studios :) Take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Needham art community- 10 locations with 40 participating artists.

Of course there will be FREE mosaic making in my studio. My materials are kid friendly, all ages welcome! Come hang out and make something to take home.

Had a lovely workshop yesterday! The energy was so gooooood. Everyone was happy and creative and patient (with me)! I had a family visiting from North Carolina, a group of girls celebrating a birthday and a brand new Boston resident fresh off the plane from Florida. With 13 people it was one of the larger SoWa workshops I’ve had in a while and the 1st public workshop of 2026 because January and February were snowed out.

Thank you to everyone who came, brought their creative A Game and made it a super fun afternoon!

5 years ago during pandemic Hanukah was my first Temple collaborative mosaic. The title of our mosaic “Light in the Darkness” is tragically relevant today in a way I never could have anticipated. May we all continue to bring light into darkness and proudly celebrate being Jewish this week, next week, and forever. Happy Hanukah 💕

Five years ago, during the pandemic, our community worked with mosaic artist Audrey Markoff Dunn to create a mosaic reflecting light radiating from our homes into the world.
Today, that mosaic hangs proudly in our lobby—reminding us how our shared light continues to shine bright through connection, resilience, and community. Happy Chanukah to all!
