The Santa Fe Children’s Museum is an exploratory space for children of all ages, toddlers to teens! We offer over 35 interactive indoor and outdoor exhibits including giant bubbles, dress-up and puppet theater, magnetic building tables, a 1.5 acre outdoor educational garden, a special place just for toddlers, and so much more!

🧱 Help us build the Santa Fe Children’s Museum logo out of LEGO®!

This Saturday, don't miss out on our Logo Lab Workshop with LEGO® artist Robert Piñeda! Inspired by Robert’s incredible creations, including this Zozobra mosaic, families will work together piece by piece to create a giant LEGO® version of the SFCM logo.

The finished community artwork will become part of the Museum experience, and all participating families will be recognized on the exhibit signage!

📣 Special Museum Hours This Friday!

The Santa Fe Children’s Museum will be closing early at 4 PM on Friday, August 28th as we get ready for Museum After Hours: Bricks & Brews! 🧱🍻

But the fun doesn’t stop there! Adults 21+ can join us from 6–9 PM for a nostalgic night of exploring the museum, with drinks, food, face painting, lego building challenges and more, all while supporting the Santa Fe Children’s Museum.

🎟️ Tickets will be available at the door for $20, so come spend your Friday night with us!

Get ready for a Weather Science Spectacular! ☁️🌪️🔬

STEAM Saturday returns to the Santa Fe Children’s Museum on September 5 with hands-on experiments and activities exploring the science behind weather and climate!

From 11 AM–1 PM, families can:

☁️ Create a Cloud Spotter to take home and identify clouds overhead
🌥️ Experiment with our Cloud Machine and discover how clouds form
🌎 Experience our immersive Climate Change planetarium show
🌪️ Watch “Mr. Science” Hubert Van Hecke demonstrate the power of an indoor tornado

This new monthly program brings science, technology, engineering, art, and math to life through play, experimentation, and discovery on the first Saturday of every month.

Join us Wednesday, August 26, from 10:30–11:30 AM for a special Wee Wednesday with Kicks Dance Studio in The Backyard! Little ones ages 0–5 and their caregivers are invited to move, play, and explore together through creative movement designed especially for our youngest visitors.

Wee Wednesday is a weekly play-based program featuring new themes, activities, and guest presenters that help little learners build confidence, curiosity, creativity, and important early childhood skills.

🧱🍻 Explore the Santa Fe Children’s Museum after hours at Bricks & Brew!

Coming up on Friday, August 28th, the Museum is open after hours just for the grown-ups! Our 21+ Bricks & Brew fundraiser gives you the chance to eat, drink, build, play, and explore all of our indoor and outdoor exhibits, including our refreshed Creation Station, now filled with multi-sized LEGO® bricks, build-inspired books, and a “Wall of Wonder” where you can put your own creativity to work.

Throughout the night, enjoy LEGO®-inspired art, make edible LEGO® bricks with Rice Krispies Treats, and put your skills to the test with a series of fun building challenges. Plus, New Mexico locals Stacey and Justin from Season 3 of LEGO® Masters will be joining us as honored guests! They’ll bring Stacey’s winning trophy and some of their LEGO® builds, and help judge one of the evening’s building competitions. 🏆

There will also be food from El Chile Toreado, local brews from Santa Fe Brewing Company, free face painting with Bright Brush, and DJ Shimmy spinning vinyl all night long. 🎶
