The Santa Fe Children’s Museum is an exploratory space for children of all ages, toddlers to teens! Are you passionate about creativity, education, and inspiring young minds? We're looking for a Museum Programs Coordinator to help bring hands-on learning experiences to life! 🎨🔬

From exciting science experiments and creative activities to field trips, community outreach, and special events, this role is all about sparking curiosity and making learning fun for children and families.

✨ Position: Museum Programs Coordinator
💰 Salary: $45,000–$48,000 annually
🗓️ Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends
💚 Benefits: Paid time off, health, dental, and vision insurance, plus retirement benefits

Ideal candidates have experience working with children ages 0–12, a background in education or a related field, and a passion for play-based learning!

Children ages 5–9 can spend their holiday breaks exploring, creating, and playing through three exciting themed camps:

With hands-on exhibits, imaginative play spaces, and support from our Museum staff, birthday celebrations are full of fun for everyone!

🎈 Choose your perfect party:

🎉 Traditional Birthday Party: Celebrate with family and friends in our private Birthday Room, with direct access to all the Museum's exhibits and play spaces!

🌟 VIP Play Party: Have the entire Museum to yourselves! Enjoy an exclusive celebration on Sundays from 9:30 to 11:30 AM.

🎂 Parties accommodate up to 25 or 30 guests, depending on the package.

Our annual Weird Science Halloween Bash fundraiser is back, bringing together families and community members for one of our favorite events of the year! 👻

Come dressed in your Halloween best and enjoy trick-or-treating throughout the Museum, bubbling cauldrons, creepy critters, hands-on science experiments, creative crafts, special guests, and SO much more! 🔬🕷️

Celebrate World Mental Health Day with Wee Wednesday!

Join us Wednesday, October 7 from 10:30–11:30 AM for a special Wee Wednesday with Many Mothers in celebration of World Mental Health Day. 🌎✨

Together, we’ll think about favorite memories with our infants and toddlers and turn those moments into a gratitude mural. Practicing gratitude can encourage positive thinking, and creating together is a beautiful way to build connection and community. 🖌️

Wee Wednesdays are presented by the Brindle Foundation and New Mexico Arts. We’re so grateful for their support in making creative, meaningful programming for our youngest visitors possible! 💙
