St. Vital Museum Serving to preserve and promote the history of St. Vital, as both a city and community, for all. The St. Vital Fire Hall and Police Station at 600 St.

Vital Museum is located on the main floor of the former St. Mary's Road in Winnipeg. The museum displays many artifacts and photographs related to the history of St. Vital dating from the first settlement in 1820.

Summer hours (June to August) are now in effect, the museum is open:

Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. (Non-summer hours: Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM). Tours can be accommodated outside of regular museum hours on request. Reservations are preferred at least 2 weeks in advance. For more information on group information & tours, please visit our website at http://www.svhs.ca/services.html. Vital Museum welcomes all groups big or small, schools and community organizations. We're always on the lookout for great volunteers! Gain the opportunity to learn and share knowledge and be actively involved in an exciting part of the St. Vital Museum. Letter & job reference upon request.
