Our collections of correctional artifacts has expanded and we require more storage space for our bigger items.

Looking for someone to donate a storage container or trailer to help us out for some time. We have a safe and secured location to store the container.

The Corrections Museum would like to send out a special thank you to the city of Portage La Prairie, Manitoba First Nations Police Service and Total Demolition. Your assistance in helping us find, recover and preserve the jail cell doors from Agassiz Youth Centre (Lakewood)

Agassiz officially closed in July, 2022.

Today we honour one of our fallen officers. We remember Anton Martinsen Fladeby who lost his life on May 11th. 1919.

While working at Stony Mountain Institution. Anton was attacked in the hallway outside the barbershop by an American inmate who was serving a 3 year sentence for forgery.

Thankful and honored to have assisted with the Winnipeg Police Half Marathon. This year we partnered with some great volunteers from the Winnipeg Police Museum who assisted us with providing water, gatorade and of course cheer to all the runners who ran for this special cause.
