We are saddened to learn of the tragic accident that took the lives of two Correctional Service Canada officers and an inmate in the course of their duties.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to our Correctional Service Canada colleagues and to the families, friends and loved ones mourning this devastating loss.

Corrections in Manitoba stand by you.

Today we honour one of our fallen officers. We remember Stanley Green who lost his life on July 22nd. 1974.

While working as an instructor, he was attacked by an inmate in the carpentry shop.

Winner #15 will be notified.

The Golf tournament is now already 75% sold. It has sold out the last number of years. If your thinking about registering. Sooner is always better than later.

We won, We won!!! Doors Open Volunteer Reception held last night and the Winnipeg Police Museum with some help from the Corrections Museum of Manitoba won an award for the People's Choice Award for the Best Overall Experience.

Special shout out to the Winnipeg Police Museum for allowing us to present our history.

Bigger Thank you to all who visited the museum and voted for us. See you next year.

Today we honour one of our fallen officers. We remember John Williams who lost his life on June 25th. 1926. While supervising an inmate work group at the Manitoba Penitentiary, he was struck by blasting rock.

Great 2nd day at doors open. Final total of 870 people visited. Thank you to the Winnipeg Police Museum and all the volunteers. Thank you for allowing the Corrections Museum to show off our history.
