y beginnings trace back to 1966 when its first incarnation was known as Christopher Street Gallery in Greenwich Village. Its rise in reputation coincided with a move to Madison Avenue. By 1982, the gallery artists were garnering reviews from the press. In this year Gallery Henoch solidified its position as an elite venue championing representational painters and sensing a shift in the art scene to SoHo, it moved to Wooster St. With the emergence of Chelsea as the new art center of New York, the gallery moved to 25th Street in the Fall of 2000. It now resides in a large multilevel ground floor space. Gallery Henoch features 8 shows a year and attends premier art fairs.

Imagine stepping into the world of an ancient tapestry. Silken foliage casts deep shadows as exquisite flowers and grasses bloom in quiet abundance. Unicorns wander freely through the undergrowth, while hunters sound their horns to summon faithful hounds, all accompanied by the songs of invisible birds.
As our gaze moves from one figure to the next, we continue an imaginary journey through this enchanted garden. Towering crowns of fruit rest upon the heads of three timeless goddesses—guardians of the earth, fertility, and the hunt. Their richly patterned garments become landscapes of their own, woven with hidden creatures, forgotten legends, and fragments of memory.
Suspended somewhere between reality and dream, this magical realm invites us into a place where memory, emotion, and imagination intertwine. Like an old tale half remembered, it reminds us that the most extraordinary worlds are often those we carry quietly within ourselves.
