🪟 let the light in with Stephanie Serpick

New York-based artist Stephanie Serpick transforms familiar domestic spaces into intimate studies of light, texture, and human presence.

Her paintings often depict unmade beds, rumpled linens, and softly illuminated interiors, rendered through delicate layers of paint and carefully worked surfaces. By repeatedly painting and sanding her canvases, Serpick creates subtle variations in texture and luminosity, giving ordinary scenes a quiet, almost dreamlike quality.
