The mission of the Hermosa Beach Historical Society & Museum is to engage, delight, and educate the community through the presentation and exploration of history. Established in 1987, the HBHS exists for the purpose of preserving and chronicling the history of Hermosa Beach. We serve our community through monthly educational lectures, museum tours, new exhibitions, field trips, fulfilling research requests, and accessible virtual content.

An unforgettable night of dancing, laughing, celebrating Hermosa Beach history—and raising more than $150,000 for the Hermosa Beach Museum! 🥂🌊

None of this magic happens without our incredible event supporters. 💙 Your support made the whole night possible and helps us keep preserving, sharing, and celebrating the stories that make Hermosa Beach so special.
