A unique adventure on board takes you on a memorable family journey through World War II, Korean War, and Cold War; following in footsteps of sailors that lived on the most powerful warship built to date. Visitors tour six decks of wood & steel and numerous exhibits on the Battleship that hosted three U.S. Presidents during her service as a symbol of democracy. The USS Iowa is located at the L.A. Waterfront, former home to the US Navy Battleship fleet and an area rich in maritime history.

The Port of Los Angeles is bringing Cars & Stripes Forever back, and this year it is happening right in front of Battleship IOWA. We are thrilled to be part of this iconic pre-Independence Day celebration.

Come aboard for a night unlike any other. We will be open late for tours, serving a full drink menu, and have food from Vicky’s Doghouse on deck. Then cap the night off watching the fireworks from the best seat in the harbor🎇

80 years later, these code names still cause goosebumps. They designated the beach landing sites for the largest amphibious invasion in history - Operation OVERLORD, which has come to be known as D-Day.

The actions taken on June 6, 1944 will be remembered across the ages. They reflect the best in us: honor, courage, determination, and perseverance.

Let us never forget.
