Happy Birthday to the legendary Michael Jackson. 🌟

In honor of what would have been the King of Pop’s 68th birthday, we look back at what made him a defining artist of the 20th century. Jackson changed the landscape of music, dance, and entertainment, and his influence continues to resonate around the world.

We’re honored to present some of his most iconic artifacts at the Grammy Museum, giving fans an opportunity to see a piece of his enduring legacy in person.

It’s all about to unravel. 💜

The Grammy Museum announces, Olivia Rodrigo: the cure unraveled, presented by American Express, a new two-part exhibit exploring the making of Olivia's "the cure" music video through original sets, artwork, behind-the-scenes photography, interactive experiences, and more.

On September 1, Olivia joins us for a special evening featuring a conversation moderated by Cameron Crowe, a live performance, and first access to the exhibit before it opens to the public on September 2.

The exhibit will be on view through February 22, 2027, with an expanded experience featuring never-before-seen artifacts arriving in early fall 2026

Today, the Grammy Museum joins music lovers around the world in mourning the loss of Dolly Parton, an extraordinary multi-Grammy winning artist, songwriter, performer, and humanitarian whose impact eclipsed generations and genres.

We were honored to celebrate Dolly’s remarkable career through our 2019 exhibition, “Diamond in a Rhinestone World: The Costumes of Dolly Parton,” which brought not only some of her most iconic outfits to the Museum, but Dolly herself. Dolly had a way of staying true to who she was, while feeling universally relatable. She brought countless people joy through her music, literacy through her philanthropy, and comfort through her lyrics. She truly was a “diamond in a rhinestone world.”

What she said that evening at our Museum still resonates with us: “I really think that if you change one thing, it would change everything. Everything I’ve ever done… seemed like the thing I was supposed to do at the time. So I can’t say I would honestly do it any different.”

Our deepest condolences to Dolly’s family and to the millions of people around the world who loved her and her profound music, which will eternally live on.
