The Tribal Museum will be open tomorrow from 10 am - 2 pm. This is the last Saturday of the fall season. We will open back up on every other Saturday in the spring!

The Patawomeck Museum & Cultural Center is hosting workshops this Saturday, October 17th 🌱

⚪️ Nature Journaling class with Botanical Cyanotypes (10 am-12 pm)

⚪️ Using Your Phone for Nature Journaling class (12 pm-2 pm).

Where: Tribal Center 🪶

Tickets: $30 for a meal with sides
Children 10 & under - free

Music: Virginia Rain Bluegrass Band 🎻🪕

The museum will be CLOSED all week. It will be OPEN during the Shrimp Feast with free admission!

This shirt represents more than football. It’s a celebration of community, tradition, and the connection between the Stafford High community and our Tribe.

Hello all,

Chief Emeritus John Lightner

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chief Emeritus John Lightner. Chief Lightner led a life dedicated to public service. From his career in Law Enforcement to leading our Tribe, Chief Lightner was a wonderful servant to his community. Chief Lightner led the Patawomeck Tribe through a time of great growth and achievement. He will be missed but his legacy will live on. Funeral services for Chief Emeritus Lightner are as follows:

Visitation - Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 11am

Services at 12pm - Covenant on Rt. 1

Please keep his family in your prayers, KeNaah. Chief Lightner, thank you for your dedication to your people and your community. Rest easy, until we meet again. 🪶
