Fresh off the easel ✨
These new expressionistic oil paintings were created with bold brushwork, layered texture, rich color, and emotion leading every stroke. I’m always less interested in painting perfect reality and more interested in painting what something feels like…the tension, softness, memory, longing, comfort, indulgence, silence, or chaos living underneath the surface.
Heavy impasto, tactile texture, spontaneous marks, and luminous color all came together in this new series to create pieces that feel deeply human and alive.
