Our Story

Darbytown Art Studio is a community of artists who love to work and explore art making together. As a working venue our studio does not maintain regular working hours; however, the studio is often open for you to walk through and our artists are always happy to set up a time to meet with you! Finished pieces are available for sale throughout the studio. If you are interested in commissioning a piece please speak to individual artists as they are delighted to work with you. If you are looking for a space to create and grow in your craft we have a few spaces left. You can contact us directly for more information and to tour available studios.

Each month we participate in Fredericksburg First Friday which is a local event supporting local studios and galleries around downtown Fredericksburg. Jump on the free trolley and stop by Darbytown. We will be open the first Friday of each month from 6-9pm throughout the year. Come for refreshments, art, friends and always good conversation. This is your chance to meet the artists in person, ask questions about styles and techniques and of course purchase art. All of the artists here at Darbytown Art Studio appreciate your support and interest in our work. You can find out more information about each artist in the Photo tab.
