The rats have taken over.
The pharmacy is selling mysterious cures.
The church bells are ringing for another funeral.

The school house has an eerie silence in lessons. The postmaster can't remember who is dead or alive. But this year make sure to leave your name and address to get a special post card sent to you after to determine if you survived.

Tomorrow night, the gates open. Will you dare enter?

🕯️ HOW BRAVE ARE YOU? 🕯️

Not everyone wants the same kind of spooky experience, and that's okay!

Our Haunted Lantern Tours offer two different atmospheres:

🏮 7–7:30 PM: A less intense experience, perfect for younger visitors and those sensitive to darkness as the sun has not quite set yet.

💀 7:30–9 PM: As darkness settles over the village, the atmosphere becomes much spookier!

🎭 THE PLAGUE NEEDS YOU! 🐀

We're putting the finishing touches on Jefferson Depot Village's Haunted Lantern Tours, and we could still use a few helping hands!

We're looking for:
👻 Scare actors and creepy villagers
🍿 Concession stand helpers
🎃 Decorating and setup volunteers

No acting experience necessary! Just bring your creativity, enthusiasm, and maybe your creepiest laugh!

📍 Join us at Jefferson Depot Village this week to finish decorating Tuesday–Thursday, 4–6:30 PM.

Friday, October 16, we'll be doing final preparations and a run-through from 4–6:30 PM before opening!

Tag someone who would make a GREAT plague victim or spooky villager! 💀

🐀 THE RATS HAVE RETURNED TO JEFFERSON! 🐀

Something terrible is spreading through Depot Village...

The villagers are falling ill, strange figures wander the streets, and whispers of the Black Death are everywhere.

🏮 Our Haunted Lantern Tours begin THIS FRIDAY, October 16!

💀 QUESTION: If you lived during the Black Death, would you be the brave plague doctor, the suspicious villager, or the first one running out of town? 😂

We will be opening our village and gates to Jefferson Elementary PTO for their annual trunk or treat. We cant wait to see all the decorated trunks, costumes and visitors. We will have volunteers handing out candy from the depot building which will be open to explore.

Check out the spot where they filmed the Train Disaster Documentary. Or ask us about the depot grounds and tours. Looks to be a fun evening.

We are still accepting trunks for trunk or treat.

Date is October 30th 6-9pm

Setup will be from 4-530

Bretteny will be on site at 4pm. And also if you have any questions feel free to reach out to her

We are excited to announce that we will have two food trucks on site at the depot. We know this takes place right at dinner time so make sure to stop and grab some yummy dinner while enjoying trunk or treat

Cheesy Squeezy and Nita's Farm Fresh Cafe will be serving up treats no tricks for you.

In the mood for something sweet check out Danielle's Confections food truck for some yummy delights.

Feeling thirsty stop at the The.Fizzy.Filly for some yummy dirty sodas

Parking will be available at Giddings along Jefferson St or at the Methodist Church access parking off E. Walnut St.

We are accepting candy donations, those can be dropped off at elementary school office

Our casting and volunteer meeting is tonight at the depot village at 6pm. This is a family friendly event, kids are welcome to join in the scares too, I need students in plague masks in the schools, nurses in the hospital, a mortician and reverand over seeing the funerals.

If anyone has cornstalks they could kindly donate to depot for decorations or can build a couple casket props for photos please reach out. Only 11 more days till the Black Death arrives at our depot village. If your out and about at night for evening stroll you may notice our creepy village is coming alive with spooky lights and vibes.

The lanterns are being lit once again...
This fall, the streets of Jefferson Depot Village will come alive with one of history's darkest tales.

Journey through a village devastated by The Black Death as you make your way through multiple buildings filled with eerie scenes, haunting characters, and unsettling encounters.

🐀 Rats have overrun the Welcome Center. ⚗️ The Apothecary offers a mysterious cure. ⛪ Witness a mass funeral at the church. ⚒️ The Blacksmith has become the town morgue... 📚 Plague-masked children still attend school. 🍿 Stop at the tavern for popcorn and the legendary Elixir of Life. 🏚️ A boarded-up home hides a chilling secret. 🏥 Your journey ends inside the Depot, where a desperate hospital struggles to save the living.
