Come learn about Chatsworth History on the historic property originally homesteaded by Rhoda and James Hill. Minnie Hill Palmer, born on the homestead in 1886 raised her own family in the cottage.

Save the Date for PIONEER DAY
Sunday, October 4th 2026 11am - 3:00pm

We have all types of Family Friendly activities for kids and adults with a Family Friendly entry donation of $5 per adult, kids $1 and children under 5 years old are free. This is our annual fundraiser to maintain the facility. We keep our entry cost down so everyone can come enjoy and learn about our community.

Activities and crafts are all free at Pioneer Day and include blacksmithing, butter churning, gold panning, spinning and weaving...plus games of yore!
