This is the month I have been waiting to tell you about. My painting Prey goes on view at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art in the Made in VA Biennial, my first work to be shown in a museum, and the museum chose it as the image for the whole exhibition.
The month starts in Washington, DC, where three pieces from my Spirits series are in the Auction on the Alley at IA&A at Hillyer. I will be at the gallery on September 4, and again for DC Art All Night on September 12. Closer to home, Fallings opens at The Art League in Alexandria on September 11.
I hope to see you at one of them.
I am honored to join 36 featured artists in International Arts & Artists’ annual fundraiser. Three pieces from my Spirits series were selected, and Silent Domain was chosen for the official event poster, above. See next slide for the dates I will be there in person.

As one of the gallery’s most anticipated annual shows, miniMAX highlights the dramatic contrast between extreme scale and intricate detail, bringing together exceptional works from local miniature artists and large-scale creators.
