Galactic Panther Art Gallery is proud to announce the opening of Nine Lives: New Works by Mike Egan, a solo exhibition of new paintings opening on May 29, 2026. The show brings together a powerful body of work that explores the universal themes of life, death, and religion through Egan’s distinctive visual language.

The opening reception is May 29
6 to 10PM, catered, live music by Luis Fernandez de Cordoba, free to public.

Executed in acrylic on wood panels, stretched canvases, and found objects, Egan’s paintings draw from an unusually personal well. Egan’s visual influences range widely, including the German Expressionists, stained glass windows, religious icons, Southern folk art, outsider art, and Halloween and horror films. The result is a body of work that feels simultaneously irreverent and deeply sincere: bold lines, dark imagery, and a graphic sensibility rooted in his early studies of printmaking at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.

The opening is free and open to the public.
Donations are gratefully accepted, and all artwork will be for sale (while it lasts!).
