In Radiator #5, Jim Tetro transforms an ordinary corner into a meditation on warmth, distance, and memory: a quiet moment captured while visiting his son. Bathed in amber light, the photograph holds the emotional weight of temporary spaces and the intimacy found within them.

The Athenaeum gallery is open Thursday through Sunday from 12 - 4 pm.

In Letters #42, Jim Tetro turns language into ruin and resurrection: carved, burned, and folded into something both fragile and defiant. The piece feels like a message pulled from the edge of disappearance, where the act of destruction becomes its own form of writing.

The Athenaeum gallery is open Thursday through Sunday from 12 - 4 pm.

One could argue that the Instax mini film format has become a tool for documenting happy times in someone's life. Marc Sirinsky's exhibition subverts this form of documentation, turning it on its head to address the heavy themes while treating the prints as non-disposable objects worthy of preservation.

The gallery is open Thursday through Sunday, from 12 pm to 4 pm!

Jim Tetro views abstraction as something beyond recognizable objects; in many cases, the abstraction itself becomes the object. To him, the image exists as its own entity, much like an abstract painting that stands independently of literal interpretation.

The Athenaeum gallery is open Thursday through Sunday from 12 - 4 pm.

Jim Tetro’s work reminds us that beauty doesn’t always arrive perfectly arranged; sometimes it appears in the unexpected, the overlooked, the accidental. As he once said, “I became interested in exploring the beauty and artistry of the accidental. I became obsessed with allowing my eye – not my brain — tell me what to capture.”

The Athenaeum gallery is open Thursday through Sunday from 12 - 4 pm.
