This week, we had the privilege of welcoming Mel Marcelo's family to experience his exhibit - Center Stage: The Art of Mel Marcelo at Comic-Con Museum. Seeing them surrounded by the artwork, memories, and legacy Mel created over decades was an emotional reminder of the impact one artist can have on a community.

Mel's work celebrated the unforgettable concerts, sporting events, and cultural moments that helped define Pechanga Arena San Diego, and we're honored to help share his story with fans old and new as we celebrate our 60th anniversary.

The exhibition is now open at Comic-Con Museum through March 2027. Whether you grew up attending events at the arena, appreciate incredible local artistry, or simply want to experience a unique piece of San Diego history, we hope you'll stop by and see it for yourself at Comic-Con Museum.

Pechanga Arena is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a special exhibition honoring legendary San Diego artist Mel Marcelo Mel Marcelo at Comic-Con Museum, running from June 29, 2026, through March 1, 2027.

The exhibition will showcase a collection of original artwork created exclusively for historic concerts, sporting events, and cultural moments hosted at throughout the venue’s 60-year history. Ticket and info link in bio.
