Calling all K-12 students! There's a new contest in town to see who can create the most dynamic Hunger Action Hero.
The winner will have their hero brought to life by a costume designer who has worked on iconic Marvel movies, the costume displayed at the Comic-Con Museum during Comic-Con + four passes to the convention itself!
This contest is only open for a limited time so be sure to get your designs in before April 22! Any K-12 student can submit their original design of a hunger action hero, along with a short origin story, and have the opportunity to win amazing prizes.

The Comic-Con Museum will be a year-round operation, manifesting the same values of accessibility, curiosity and appreciation that have driven the organization’s world-famous conventions. Shows led up at 4 PM and they said they closed the line. Drove in 2 hours of traffic to get turned down by a rude woman. This place is bogus
I had an absolutely wonderful time at The Gathering at the Comic Con Museum last night. I was initially a bit disappointed when I arrived at the after party to find out no one else would have access to the VR experience (due to overbooking), the feature I had been most excited about trying out. However, upon discovering this, someone named Lisa (not sure if she was a staff member or a volunteer) apologized for the way that particular part of the event has been handled and took me aside to point out the different things that were available. She even caught up with me later in the night to make sure I was having fun and see if I had any other questions. The time she took to acknowledge the oversight and to remedy with other fun activities was deeply appreciated. The variety and quality of things already on display was excellent, and I look forward to seeing it develop over the next two years.
