Be one of the few to experience the St. Augustine Lighthouse at night. The Dark of the Moon paranormal tour is the only tour with access inside the Lighthouse. Learn the real history behind the paranormal events that take place here. The Dark Of The Moon tour is a two hour paranormal tour. The first portion is a guided session through the Keeper's house and the grounds. Then after a climb in the tower in total darkness guests are set free to explore and investigate the site as they see fit. Adults are $25, children are $20 (and must be at least 44 inches to climb the tower)
Members are $20
We also rent out K-II EMF meters for an additional $5

The first photo shows Carrie Pittee and Daughter Izah — You may not recognize this woman immediately, but if you’ve been on one of our ghost tours at the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum, you definitely know of her. The woman in this photo is Carrie Hutchinson née Pittee. Hezekiah Pittee and his family had moved down from Maine to oversee the construction of our current lighthouse. Unfortunately, during the construction process, a horrible tragedy occurred that resulted in the death of two of Carrie’s sisters, Mary and Eliza, as well as another girl. Carrie was the only one who survived, and the Pittee family moved back to Maine after the accident. Carrie went on to marry Adelbert Hutchinson and have a daughter, Izah Estilla.

📷 The second photo shows Mary, Carrie Eliza Pittee before rhe fatal accident that clsimed the lives of Mary and Eliza on July 10, 1873 at the construction site of the St. Augustine Lighthouse on Anastasia Island in St. Augustine, Florida.
