We’re thrilled to partner with Pasadena Playhouse to bring Broadway Babies to SCCM! Starting September 5, this joyful caregiver-and-child class invites little ones to sing, dance, move, and explore musical theater together. Families also receive a free museum admission pass and discounted “stay and play” admission.

Join us for inclusive playtime during our Play for All Abilities hours on the last Thursday of every month.

🚧 Construction related to LA Metro’s North Hollywood – Pasadena Bus Rapid Transit project is currently underway around the museum and may make it more difficult to enter our parking lot when traveling east on Los Robles Avenue. 🚧

Before heading our way, be sure to check your route and allow a little extra time. You can find links to Metro’s latest construction updates on our website at socalkids.org/visit .

We’re excited to see the changes, and appreciate your patience as our neighborhood gets an upgrade! 💙

While we get our mobile play activation ready for Just Like Heaven Fest, our Construction Site exhibit is taking a little building break.

But don't fret, young architects! We've brought back a classic favorite in the meantime: our Big Blue Blocks! 💙🧱

Come build, stack, balance, and create with them this week. The Construction Site will be ready for building again next week!

Summer in the City is getting a theatrical touch, thanks to our wonderful partners at Pasadena Playhouse! Their team graciously outfitted our puppet theater with a Pasadena Playhouse-inspired backdrop, stage design, ticket booth, and even custom tickets for young performers to use as they bring their stories to life. 🎟️

Inspired by their recent production of Sunday in the Park with George, our theater invites kids to create their own Sunday in the Park with Friends! 🌳

A HUGE THANK YOU to Pasadena Playhouse for helping us create a space where little imaginations can take center stage! ✨
