karo moret-miranda is an Afro-Cuban historian and visual artist whose practice explores the intersections of African and Afro-Caribbean histories, spirituality, memory, race, and gender. Her research-led work moves between painting, watercolour, textiles, embroidery, trapunto, and soft sculpture. Drawing particularly from Yorùbá and Afro-Cuban cosmologies, she explores the ocean, the body, ritual, and material culture as carriers of ancestral knowledge. Her work considers how memories survive displacement and how African spiritual and cultural traditions have been transformed across the Black Atlantic. Through layered surfaces, recurring ritual symbols, and embodied forms, she approaches art-making as a way of recovering histories that have been fragmented, submerged, or excluded from dominant archives.

Raised in the Amazon, she spent part of her childhood near an indigenous tribe, which profoundly influenced her artistic vision. Her work draws inspiration from the Amazonian environment, ancient cultures, Brazilian culture, Impressionism, and Expressionism.
Linhares’ artworks are characterized by vibrant colors and a lyrical, intuitive style. Her creations evoke a universe of dreams, spirituality, and connection, reflecting her deep engagement with her cultural and natural surroundings.

Karo Moret-Miranda’s interdisciplinary practice draws from African and Afro-diasporic histories, Yoruba cosmology, and ancestral knowledge. Through her exploration of Ori and Olokun, the ocean becomes a space where histories of displacement, loss, spiritual continuity, and rebirth converge, revealing the enduring presence of memory across generations.

Larissa Linhares draws inspiration from the Amazon, ancient cultures, and the spiritual dimensions of her environment. Through vibrant colors and intuitive expression, she creates dreamlike compositions in which nature, imagination, and cultural memory intertwine, reflecting her deep connection to the landscapes and traditions that have shaped her artistic vision.

Together, their works create a dialogue between ancestral histories and living landscapes, revealing nature as a carrier of memory and a source of identity and belonging. Kimberly Atwood is an American contemporary artist and film producer whose work explores emotional memory, identity, abandonment, resilience, and personal transformation through text-driven abstraction. Working primarily with acrylic, pastel, raw canvas, and bold color fields, Atwood creates emotionally charged pieces that blur the line between confession, confrontation, and visual poetry. After decades spent building a career in film and media, Atwood turned more fully toward painting as both language and reckoning. Her work often incorporates stark handwritten or stenciled phrases layered over expressive surfaces, using simplicity and repetition to expose complex emotional states. Themes of grief, longing, visibility, reinvention, and feminine agency recur throughout her practice. Her evolving bodies of work — including the “UN” series and emotionally declarative paintings such as YOU HURT ME, UNheard, and The Horse — reflect a raw but intentional visual language that balances vulnerability with force. Influenced as much by personal history as by contemporary culture, Atwood’s paintings reject perfection in favor of emotional truth. Atwood’s artistic practice exists alongside her work in film production and creative development, where she has spent years building projects across entertainment, sports, and media. LINDSEY M COLLECTIONS Kimberly Atwood

Lindsey Mctavish is a Canadian contemporary fibre artist based in Nelson, British Columbia. Working primarily with hand-felted and quilted wool & silk, she creates richly textured landscapes that explore memory, emotion and our relationship with the natural world. Mctavish’s work moves between representation and abstraction, using layers of fibre, saturated colour and stitched line to capture not simply the appearance of a place, but the experience of being within it.
Her practice is rooted in an intuitive and tactile process in which landscape becomes a means of exploring change, connection and the passage of time. Her work has been exhibited and featured in contemporary art exhibitions and publications across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe. Mctavish lives and works between Nelson, British Columbia, and a small island in Bayfield inlet on Georgian Bay, Ontario. The distinctive landscape of Georgian Bay, famously depicted by the Group of Seven, has been a defining source of inspiration throughout her life.

O. Yemi Tubi is an internationally exhibited and award-winning contemporary artist whose work has received numerous recognitions worldwide. In 2026, he was selected for the BIEAF Steering Committee of the 23rd Busan International Environmental Art Festival and received the World Artist Award from BIEAF in Busan, South Korea. His recent honors include awards from the Inspired by Classics Art Show in Budapest, the Hashtag Certificate of Achievement, and recognition from international exhibitions and galleries.
His work has earned numerous Best in Show, First Place, People’s Choice, and Awards of Distinction, including recognition from NOMA Gallery in Florida, Red Bluff Gallery in California, and the FL3TCH3R Exhibition in Tennessee.
