Twenty-five years ago, journalists ran toward the story while the rest of the world tried to make sense of what was happening. Their footage, their words, and their firsthand accounts became part of how a nation processed an unthinkable day.
In collaboration with the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, The Paley Center for Media presents "9/11 Through the Media Lens: 25 Years Later" — an evening with the reporters and photographers who were there: Pat Kiernan (NY1), Nina Pineda (WABC-TV), Matthew McDermott, Jonathan Capehart, and Professor Barbie Zelizer, moderated by Paula Zahn. Together, they'll revisit that day, trace how journalism has changed in the years since, and speak to why these firsthand accounts matter more than ever.
Tickets: Paley members get early access starting Aug 27 at noon ET; general public tickets go on sale Aug 28 at noon ET. Tickets linked below.
