The South Asian Womxn’s Creative Collective (SAWCC) has served South Asian womxn since 1997 and has earned a reputation for showcasing cutting-edge work that deals intelligently with issues of gender and cultural representation. SAWCC'S mission is the advancement, visibility, and development of emerging and established South Asian and Indo-Caribbean womxn, cis and trans women, trans men, gender no

n-binary or non-conforming, and femme-presenting artists and creative professionals by providing a physical and virtual space to profile their creative and intellectual work across disciplines. As a collective, we do not support any sentiments, governments, media, or narratives that further harmful agendas against marginalized groups, may it be Hindu nationalism, casteism, Brahmanism and anti-Dalitism; as well as anti-Black—and more broadly, anti-BIPOC—classist, ableist, colorist, and anti-LGBTQIA+ ideologies. Should you have any questions or concerns, please message us on our page or email us [email protected]. On behalf of SAWCC’s board, thank you for being part of the SAWCC community.
