When news broke of Princess Diana's death, Dr. TF Chen went to bookstores to buy every book he could find on her and began gathering a vast collection of material—especially photographs. Watching her funeral and the endless television coverage of her life day after day, he was moved to begin the "Princess Diana Series," setting a goal of 36 paintings, one for each year of her life. Dr. TF Chen (Tsing Fang Chen) believed Diana was the last and greatest "icon" of the 20th century, and set out to portray her in his signature Neo-Iconography style, capturing the many facets of this extraordinary woman. The first 30 works in the series debuted the following spring at the New World Art Center, with additional showings at SoHo galleries and in Taipei, Taiwan. Dr. TF Chen has long hoped to bring the Princess Diana Series to London—the city so intimately tied to her life, her legacy, and the outpouring of grief and devotion that followed her passing. A London exhibition would carry particular resonance: it would return Diana's image, reimagined through Dr. Chen's Neo-Iconography, to the very place where her story unfolded and where she remains most deeply remembered. Dr. Chen believes London audiences—and the institutions that have long championed her memory—would find in these works a fresh and moving lens on an icon they know so well.
We are actively seeking a curator or curatorial partner with connections to London's museum and gallery world to help bring this exhibition to life. If you know someone who might be the right fit to curate a London showing of the Princess Diana Series, we would love an introduction.

At age 90, Dr. Chen presents a powerful new body of work celebrating America’s 250th anniversary and Manhattan’s 400th. Through his signature Neo-Iconography, the exhibition explores themes of liberty, democracy, peace, human rights, cultural harmony, and gratitude for immigrants' contributions to American life.
Dr. TF Chen is an artist, art historian, author, and cultural visionary. Since 1964, he has advocated for a Global New Renaissance, a flowering of human brilliance through the arts. In 1969, he formulated his “Five-Dimensional World Culture View” and created Neo-Iconography — an approach that juxtaposes images from different eras and civilizations to celebrate a new world culture based in Love.• In 1970, he became the first painter to earn a PhD in Art History from the University of Paris (Sorbonne). In 2001, Chen received the Global Tolerance Award at the United Nations and was designated a Cultural Ambassador for Tolerance and Peace.• Creator of the Art for Humanity World Tour (2003–2020), promoting a global culture of peace.
At age 90, Dr. Chen continues his mission with the Hope for America touring exhibition. We are also producing a documentary about his life and art and planning the future TF Chen Art Museum. We warmly invite you to attend the exhibition and participate in these art projects.
