The 12th Symposium on the Role of Religion and Faith-Based Organizations in International Affairs wrapped earlier this month on May 5.

Bringing together faith leaders, youth, Indigenous representatives, and civil society, the symposium explored how dignity, compassion, and equality can move beyond dialogue and into meaningful grassroots action.

A recurring message throughout the discussions: strengthening multilateralism starts with people. It requires investing in relationships, inclusion, participation, and representation to ensure that no one is left behind.

Together, we continue building a more compassionate and accountable global community.

🌍✨ From CSW70 to classrooms worldwide

At the 70th UN Commission on the Status of Women, we heard an inspiring story from elementary school leaders in Taoyuan City, Taiwan

They’re inviting educators everywhere to join a global pen pal project empowering girls through connection. 💌

Through simple letter exchanges, students:
🌏 Discover life in different cultures
🗣️ Build English and communication skills
💖 Grow confidence and self-expression
🤝 Form real friendships across borders

Most importantly, they learn empathy and what it truly means to be part of one shared world.

One letter at a time, we’re raising globally minded, compassionate leaders. 🌱

🕊✨ Highlights from : Building Peace through Youth Leadership

Youth leaders and global partners joined together on March 19 to explore how youth-led initiatives are advancing gender justice, expanding opportunity, and building inclusive peace.

From addressing economic exclusion to tackling gender-based violence, the conversation highlighted how investing in youth, especially young women, can break cycles of inequality and strengthen communities.

Through shared insights and grassroots experiences, we saw how collaboration, innovation, and impact-driven solutions are shaping a more just and peaceful future. 💛
