Alex Schmitt’s Blue Sink Café show is a treasure trove of dragons, desserts, and landscapes.

Alex has been diving into new mediums, drawing with alcohol based markers and newly exploring digital art.

The first image, Hamburger, is her first digital art print! The second image, Cotton Candy, is one of 10 in her series of dragon drawings on paper. We’re excited to share more from this series over the coming weeks of her show 🍦🐉

Tomorrow, young artist Magic Moonbeam by Margo will be selling her handmade creations at the AKG Mini Makers Market from 11am–1pm.

With the support of her mom, Erin, Margo has decided to donate all of the proceeds from her sales to Starlight Studio!

A few works by Kelly Evans are headed to the Springfield Art Crawl!

The Springfield Center for the Arts is hosting “Art Crawl” next Saturday, June 6th 3pm-8pm in Downtown Springville. The event begins with a juried exhibition that places artwork in businesses on Springville’s historic Main Street.

In addition to these works by Kelly Evans, you’ll find artwork by Starlight artists Alex May, Chace Lobley, and Angelina Blackmer.

Last week we gathered with exhibiting artists Sheila Bush, Joey Harris, and Gardner Astalos to celebrate the closing of Transient Signal, our latest Side by Each exhibition.

Gardner also led a printmaking demo, where we explored a new monoprint process together — drawing, experimentation, and joyful surprises included.

Another beautiful show in the books… and the Summer Show is just around the corner 🌟
