We’re thrilled to share that Galerie d’Orsay and Kathy Buist helped raised $8,000 to benefit the Ogunquit Museum of American Art at their annual Art by the Sea auction!

This year marks our fourth year supporting the museum alongside Kathy, and we’re so pleased to help contribute to OMAA’s important work celebrating American art.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported this year’s auction at Cliff House and helped make this wonderful result possible.

As we mark the United States’ Semiquincentennial at Galerie d’Orsay in Boston, we also reflect on the enduring story of American art in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.

Four American artists from our international roster stand out for their contributions to this ongoing conversation: Stanley Boxer, Ralph Wickiser, Robert Kipniss & Richard Erdman. Each possesses a distinctive voice while remaining deeply committed to a singular artistic vision.

We have curated this digital catalog to celebrate these remarkable artists, whose work embodies the richness and lasting impact of American artistic achievement and resonates across generations. View the digital catalog at galerie-dorsay.com.

Which Ralph Wickiser painting do you choose?

Ralph Wickiser’s analytical abstractions draw inspiration from nature. This series was a 20 year study of the creek behind his home in Woodstock, NY. We had fun playing with different compositions to show how artwork can change a space.
