YES at the Museum of Science, Boston Formerly EiE. STEM is for everyone. Youth Engineering Solutions (YES) is the PreK-8 education curricula division at the Museum of Science, Boston.

Youth Engineering Solutions (YES) designs engineering, STEM, and computer science materials, resources, and educator professional development to help create the next generation of problem solvers and engineers. Formerly Engineering is Elementary (EiE), YES educates the next generation of problem solvers and engineers via high-quality STEM resources, materials, and professional learning and development.

During a YES unit, youโ€™ll hear students talking about science concepts like they own them. From friction and energy to circuits, to ecosystems and immunology, applying science helps them design better solutions to real problems.

New! Engineering a Toy Rescue, a 20-minute STEM challenge for community events

A toy is stuck in a tree! How can we get it down? In this high-energy, one-session challenge, families or small teams design creative ways to retrieve the toy, and then adapt their ideas as the situation changes.

A quick, flexible activity for STEM nights, libraries, and community events. Difficulty can be adjusted for ages 4 - adult, so families and mixed-age groups can drop in.
