Bayville Historical Museum

Bayville Historical Museum First opened in 1974 the Bayville Museum has been dedicated to preserving and displaying the history of our community and more.

The Museum Has on display tributes the Harrison Williams, Flowers Oyster farming, asparagus farming and much more. In addition the Museum has several special exhibits a year that run for short periods of time. We are located in the village Hall complex
Admission is by appointment only and is free.

After months of searching, researching, scanning, printing, mounting and hanging over 130 photos and exhibiting many artifacts we had a very successful opening last night. We were very grateful to everyone who attended. Thank you for making this evening a great success. If you missed it and don’t want to venture out in tomorrow’s weather, we will be adding dates in January and February.

We are in the home stretch of erecting the Baymens Memorial Monument in the Theodore Memorial Park in Oyster Bay New York. This memorial is for all baymen near and far. It will stand 9feet tall on a 3foot base. We are in the site preparation phase and would welcome everyone’s purchase of a memorial brick. Attached is the form for completion and an address to send it to. Thank you for your support
