Array of new GD posters in our Fall Grateful Dead Exhibition: 1. Rare cardboard GD & Allman Brothers at RFK Stadium in DC, 1973. 2. A Bob Masse (RIP) masterpiece from the Northwest - Vancouver 1967. 3. Univ of Vermont 1983. 4. Records store promotion for Live Dead featuring iconic photo by Jim Marshall (dead playing for free on Haight Street, March 3,1968). 5. Alaska 1980! Most of the band was plied with wildlife tours, salmon fishing etc to get them to come up there! 6. Crazy large poster by German poster artist Gunther Kieser for the Dead playing Munich in September 1974. 7. From Kieser to Kaiser!! 1986 Chinese New Years shows - art by a fan. Check out the inspiration for the central image - it’s one of Rick Griffin’ crazed eyeball Vikings from the Frank Zappa poster (and from an early issue of Zap Comix). Exhibition runs through Jan 2.
