All About Aquaculture! 🌊

Over the next several weeks, we'll be introducing our exciting new exhibit, Aquaculture: Farming the Waters.

This week, our Program Officer, Heather, takes us on a tour of the Seaweed Pod, where you'll learn about the fascinating role seaweed plays in aquaculture and sustainable food production.

Be sure to follow along as we explore the rest of the exhibit's pods in the coming weeks. There's plenty more to discover!

🏆 We’re honoured to share some exciting news!

This year, we were thrilled to be selected as the Kids’ Choice Award winners at the Kingston Regional Heritage Fair! 🎉

A huge congratulations to our Program Assistant, Jenna, and our Marketing & Communications Coordinator, Ryan, who did an incredible job introducing students to the behind-the-scenes work of the crew aboard the SS Keewatin.

We're so proud of Jenna and Ryan for creating such an engaging experience, and we're grateful to all the students who visited our station and voted for us. Your enthusiasm made this award especially meaningful! ❤️
