KAM, on behalf of the City of Kingston, is seeking volunteers to serve on the City of Kingston Heritage Fund (CKHF) Grant Adjudication Committees.

Interested in Volunteering? Please apply by August 28!
If you would like to contribute your expertise, gain valuable experience, and help support Kingston's heritage community, we encourage you to volunteer.

Each year, community volunteers play an important role in evaluating grant applications and helping ensure funding supports meaningful heritage initiatives throughout Kingston.

What is Involved?
Volunteer jurors will:
-Review a package of grant applications independently.
-Participate in an adjudication meetings with fellow committee members to evaluate applications and develop funding recommendations.
-Maintain the confidentiality of all application materials and discussions.
All jurors will receive an orientation and evaluation materials before the adjudication process begins.

- A designated National Historic Site, the MVTM is housed in a stone building dating to the 1870s, which was part of the Rosamond Woollen Mill complex that opened in 1867.

- One of the last surviving industrial mills in Odessa and a rare example of a water-powered basket factory in Ontario.

🏛️ Fairfield House - 4574 Loyalist Parkway, Amherstview
- One of the best-preserved 18th-century Loyalist homes in Ontario, originally built in 1793 by hand using local timber and limestone.
