We are grateful to be part of "From Brain Scans to Baby Food: Lessons from a Life in Science and Business" talk featuring Dr. Teresa Purzner Wednesday night at ! ⁠

We enjoyed speaking with guests about amazing Canadian inventions such as Publum, a fortified cereal developed at Sickkids Hospital in the 1930s to help combat infant malnutrition during the Great Depression, along with a range of neurological medicines and the evolution of reflex hammers from the 1800s to now!⁠

Through Kawartha Financial Services' Community Involvement Program, we have received a $2,000 grant. Thank you for supporting initiatives that nurture healthy minds and healthy communities!

We’re proud to share that the Canadian Museum of Health Care has received a $2,000 grant through our Community Involvement Program!

This funding will help create an interactive learning station designed to help children explore emotions and learn about caring for themselves and others. Hands‑on experiences like these help young learners build empathy, emotional awareness, and confidence – all while making education fun and meaningful.
