With The Great Beyond, Patricia Heaslip distils the Australian landscape to its most elemental and poetic form. Measuring 100 x 100 cm, this striking oil on linen embraces the power of restraint, where expansive negative space and a solitary horizon evoke an overwhelming sense of openness and possibility.

A luminous sky occupies much of the composition, gently meeting a richly layered earth of warm ochres, burnt siennas, and deep crimson tones. Below, a quiet waterhole emerges as a moment of reflection—a subtle focal point that anchors the vastness of the surrounding land. The painting breathes with stillness, inviting the viewer to pause and experience the profound silence that defines Australia’s interior.

Rather than documenting a place, Heaslip captures its essence. Every layer is measured, every transition delicate, allowing atmosphere and emotion to take precedence over detail. The result is a landscape that feels timeless, where memory, light, and space converge in perfect balance.

The Great Beyond is a meditation on distance, solitude, and the enduring beauty of the Australian continent. It is a work of quiet confidence—minimal yet deeply evocative—affirming Patricia Heaslip’s remarkable ability to transform the familiar landscape into an emotional and contemplative experience.

Just Sold – Moments Collected by Thierry B

We’re delighted to announce the sale of Moments Collected by Thierry B, a wonderfully serene abstraction that feels as poetic today as the moment it was created.

Layer upon layer of delicate forms seem to float across the canvas, overlapping like fragments of memories gathered over time.

There is a beautiful sense of repetition and stillness within the work—a reminder that our lives are ultimately made up of thousands of small moments, collected along the way.

A heartfelt thank you once again to the creative team at Create Interiors, led by Leah Hallis, for another wonderful collaboration.

Working together on a major project and selecting original artworks that each bring their own personality to the interiors has been an absolute pleasure.

Congratulations to the collectors. I’m thrilled that Moments Collected will now begin another chapter in its story.

In Aurum, Patricia Heaslip captures the quiet majesty of the Australian landscape with remarkable elegance and restraint. Measuring 122 x 122 cm, this luminous oil painting is bathed in warm golden ochres, soft creams, and delicate lavender undertones, creating the sensation of sunlight stretching endlessly across the land.

Heaslip’s signature minimalist language is unmistakable. Fine rhythmic mark-making drifts gently across the canvas, while subtle organic forms emerge like distant vegetation scattered across an ancient plain. Rather than describing the landscape, she evokes its atmosphere—its vastness, silence, and timeless beauty.

Thierry B.’s collage series becomes a testament to the artist’s unrelenting quest to expand the boundaries of art. In his deft hands, the remnants of the past coalesce into a visual symphony that beckons us to peer beyond the veneer of the everyday. Through his works, we are reminded that art is not a stagnant artifact but a living, breathing entity that evolves with each stroke of creativity.
