THANKYOU to everyone that came down to farewell Conduit Arts Initiative. It was a night that we will certainly remember for a very long time. Many thanks to Prophets, Hi God People and Pat O'brien for providing music and entertainment for the evening as well as Dominic Kavanagh, Llawella Lewis and Alexander Dathe who put together great installations as part of the upstairs exhibition. We are slowly working through some photos and footage of the evening that we'll be posting as soon as we can. Marie and Leo are now looking forward to turning their attentions to new projects and their own practices. For anyone that is interested or just simply curious, Leo and Marie are more than happy to answer any questions about their last 4 years at Conduit Arts as well as it's inception, it's mission and the day to day running of the space. We'll be keeping an eye on the Conduit Arts email so keep in touch. Much Love!!!!!!

Vanessa White's 'Amateur/Professional' exhibition continues today after a lovely opening last night. Pop past the space to catch these beautiful paintings and pick yourself up a mag! We'll be here till 6pm.

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT ///////////////////////////////

As some of you may know Conduit Arts has recently made the decision to close it's doors as of May 16th this year. It is a decision that we have thankfully been able to make without pressure from any outside sources such as monetary or rental concerns. The board at Conduit Arts have always seen running a not for profit arts space as a fluid and somewhat temporal endeavour and believe that by nature, artist run initiatives aren’t meant to be around forever. We are excited by the legacy that Conduit Arts shall leave and are looking forward to the incredible events upcoming at the space that shall help us bring it to an end. On a final note, we do still have a few spots in March should you want to try and fit in one more night before we close our doors. We'd love to hear from you!!!!!

Tonight we have the marvellously talented David Palliser opening his exhibition "Wait, Koala" which is a collection of works from his recent studio residency in Leipzig. Come down and have a beer and celebrate a great show. Join us between 6-9pm.

What a night. What a gloriously controlled caophony that was Todd Anderson-Kunerts "Still Agitated". Thanks everyone for being involved. NOW....install begins tomorrow on David Pallisers "Wait, Koala". It shall be an exhibition of drawings from his recent residency in Leipzig. 2016 just keeps on getting BETTER!!

Tonight marks the end of Omelettes 4 night residency at Conduit Arts but we'll be going out with a bang as they invite Andrea Keller to join them. This group are seriously sounding the bees knees and after 3 evenings in a row you can expect great things to happen. Come down and help us close out what has been a a marvellous residency!

We have had 2 spectacular evenings of music courtesy of Omelette and we have 2 more. Tonight, come by for new compositions courtesy of Miroslav Bukovsky as well as the usual incredible playing from Ronnie Ferella, Mark Shepherd, Steve Magnusson and Jordan Murray. After two evenings already the group is sounding astoundingly good. Get down!! Doors from 8pm.
