Frye Art Museum Seattle’s free art museum dedicated to exhibiting art from past to present. Admission to the Museum is always free.

Located on Seattle’s First Hill, the Frye Art Museum first opened its doors in 1952 as the legacy of Charles and Emma Frye, prominent early-twentieth-century Seattle business leaders and art collectors. The collection includes nineteenth- and early-twentieth-century German and American paintings, as well as more contemporary works that bridge visual art, media, and installation. The Museum also ho

sts a wide variety of rotating exhibitions featuring local, national, and international artists. All visitors are welcome to join a wide variety of programming and events, from free daily tours to film screenings, concerts, artist lectures, and more. The Museum also features a Café serving made-from-scratch seasonal bites alongside beverages and desserts. The Museum Store features a curated collection of one-of-a-kind items from Pacific Northwest designers and artists.

Holley’s venerated artworks have shown at the country’s most prominent museums, and his albums have received critical acclaim and admirers.

On Thurs Sept 3, join Holley and longtime friend and collaborator Matt Arnett (Matt Arnett) for a one-of-a-kind evening of songs and discussion about his incredible art and life.

This event is part of Artists At Large, a new annual program at the Frye featuring conversations, performances, and presentations by nationally and internationally recognized artists participating in local residency programs, including Pilchuck Glass School’s.

This one-of-a-kind evening of art, music, mythical storytelling, and extraordinary cuisine amidst the splendor of Frye Salon, features a multicourse dinner from Chef Janet Becerra of Pancita, an atmospheric soundscape provided by Terror/Cactus, a mezcal tasting, and more delightful surprises.
