These awesome shots were taken by Twain Wilkins Twain Wilkins Thanks again Castle Rock Parks & Recreation and Town of Castle Rock for having us create these sculptures for Rock Park and to our incredible crew who make this work happen!

“Big Drive” is installed in Castlerock Colorado. Three monumental Longhorn cattle celebrating the ranching heritage of the area. Rock Park is land that was once part of a local ranch. Many thanks Town of Castle Rock and Castle Rock Parks & Recreation for the trust and support in creating this project. Once again the crew DKLA•DESIGN made this possible, thank you gentlemen! It is a delight to hear from so many local residents that the sculpture is such a great fit for their beloved park. And thanks to rancher John Anderson who started the annual cattle drive that is part of Castlerock’s Western Heritage celebration every July!

The sculpture rodeo continues with some first class calf roping, steer wrangling and all around cowboying. Our monument celebrating the ranching heritage of Castlerock Colorado getting installed last week.

Things I like: Artful cookies, ribbon cuttings, big crowds, bad-ass workers, giant grasshoppers, giant meadowlarks, playful kids, art at Big Bull Creek Park and working with the amazing people ! What a great day activating “Picnic” with our friends!
