Hello everyone happy Friday. I know this weekend is tax free weekend for back to school but if you would like something to do with the kids before you send them back to school come out and see us for a fun time. It may be hot but the weather will be nice.

TTM invites you to visit us on July 4th for history and hot dogs

Free hot dogs will be served from 11 AM until supplies run out.
The museum will be open our normal hours of 9 AM until 4 PM.

If you are searching for an inexpensive day out with your family tomorrow, look no further than the all-free day at the Texas Transportation Museum. That's Saturday, May 9, from 10 AM to 3 PM. Thanks to sponsorship by the Red McCombs Auto Group, admission to the 19th Annual "San Antonio Ford Model T Show" is free, plus you get full access to the entire museum with all its exhibits, model railroads and, let's not forget, rides on our full-sized train. If that isn't enough, starting at 10 AM, children's book author Julia Parker will be signing her "Kitten Conductor" book along with an adorable plushy toy based on the book's adorable little kitten. Bring a picnic lunch and eat under the shade of some very old trees. How can you beat that?
