Friends of the Log Cabin Village, Quincy, IL

Mission: Restore, Preserve and Promote the utilization of the Village/Museum.. .

Formed in 2007 to save the Lincoln-era Log Cabin Village, this organization promotes local history and raises funds to restore the cabins for future generations.

We look forward to seeing lots of people on September 12, 2026 11 - 4 at Frontier Settlement Day on Quinsippi Island. Reenactors and displayers - chair caning, woodworking, Lincoln as portrayed by Fritz Klein, the tri state Civil War Roundtable with HSQAC, The River Eagle Council will have their tipi & displays set up, try tea with the Daughters of the War of 1812, The Quincy Museum will have a display in the Clat Adams Store. Join Jane & Paul for Pioneer Games and there'll be more.

Annual Meeting & Picnic June 8, 2026 at 6 p.m. Meat, water & table service furnished, bring a dish to share. Quinsippi Island Shelter House. Free for members/FSD displayers ($5) for non-members. Please RSVP via messenger or [email protected] by June 4 so we know how much to order.
