Museum Visitor Highlight:
Yesterday, May 23, Dr. Scott Giltner enjoyed conversing with a couple from parts unknown on the last stop of their National Lincoln Tour. The couple enjoyed our displays and interactive media and shared with Dr. Giltner that, from Washington, DC, Springfield and New Salem, Illinois, and all the debate sites throughout the tri-state area, Quincy is “by far the best debate site.” Thank you for the endorsement, and we concur!

Join us this Thursday Feb 19th at the Lincoln-Douglas Debate Museum for a fascinating look at the life and times of Missouri ragtime legend "Blind" Boone, who appeared frequently in Quincy between the 1880s and 19teens. Doors open for snacks at 5:00 PM, talk to begin at 5:30 PM. Should be a great night.
