🌟 FOLKLIFE FESTIVAL VENDOR HIGHLIGHT — DAY ONE! 🌟

We’re kicking off our festival highlights with a vendor who has become a familiar and much-appreciated face at our events: Shandi’s! 💛

Shandi’s has joined us for events in the past, and we’re always so grateful for the support, enthusiasm, and delicious treats they bring to our community. We’re excited to have them back with us for the upcoming Folklife Festival!

Depending on what Mother Nature has in store, you’ll find Shandi’s serving up a little something for everyone—from ice cream and hot cocoa to unique Lotus drinks, lemon shakeups, coffee, and more! 🍦☕🍋

Whether you’re looking for something cool and refreshing, a warm pick-me-up, or just want to try something new, be sure to stop by and say hello to Shandi’s while you’re enjoying the festival!

And this is just Day One of our festival highlights… 👀✨

There’s plenty more to come!

This week Mrs. Elizabeth Newcomb Stillwell would have celebrated her birthday! Elizabeth was born August 15th, 1870 in Wisconsin. She lived here with her with her family for only a short time before marrying Mr. John Amos Stillwell of Hannibal. In the 1910's she and John would move into the home with their three sons, Richard, John Brison, and Alan.

Elizabeth is credited with the beautiful renovations of the dining room, including the one of a kind marouflage on the walls! If you haven't seen this exquisite room, today is the perfect day to come for a tour!

We are open from 1-4:30 today! We'd love to have you visit!

We were thrilled to host the Midsummer Arts Faire board last evening! ✨ They chose the ornate architecture of our mansion as the backdrop for their updated headshots, and we loved having them here.

We also got to hear a little about all the exciting plans they have in store to make next year’s event an entirely new and magical experience—and we can’t wait to see it come to life!

Thank you for allowing the beautiful details of our mansion to be part of your reimagined Midsummer Arts Faire. We’re honored to play a small part in what promises to be something truly special! 💫
