What a way to wrap up Ready-Set-School! 🎒✨

This past Sunday was our final Ready-Set-School event, with a full day of activities to help families get excited and ready for the school year ahead. From tie-dye and science experiments to singing and dancing with Miss Margaret, learning how to DJ, and storytime with Cousin John, there was something for everyone. 💙

We also got creative with Project Joy, making backpack charms and pencils, enjoyed performances from Settlement Music School, and sent families home with backpacks, books, and fresh food from Ava’s Farm! 📚🎒🍎

It was a jam-packed day full of learning, creating, playing, and getting ready for a great school year!

A huge THANK YOU to Independence Blue Cross for sponsoring Ready-Set-School and making these free community days possible! 💙

Get ready for a grr-ific Saturday at Please Touch Museum! 🐯✨ With Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: A Grr-ific Exhibit closing soon, Daniel Tiger is stopping by on August 29 for one final meet-and-greet!

Meet-and-greet sessions are included with Museum admission and available first come, first served while space allows. The line opens 15 minutes before each session.

Only a few tickets remain for our final Ready Set School event of the summer on August 23! 📚✂️✏️ Presented by Independence Blue Cross, Ready Set School is a FREE school readiness campaign designed to help children and families build confidence, connection, and community through storytelling, creativity, movement, and exploration. 🤸‍♀️

Children will practice the social-emotional skills that help them become READY and SET to learn in SCHOOL.🚌

Space Day was a BLAST! 🚀 We built rovers and spaceships, painted the galaxy, watched a planetarium show, and even went to Mars during storytime! Thanks to everyone who joined us for an out-of-this-world day of play, creativity and discovery. 🌎✨
