On October 2, we presented a selection from BOLTBOLT at The Brutalist’s Issue 01 pre-launch during LA Design Week/End .
Sound, light, glass, and architectural forms shared the space. Seeing people move between them—observe, interact, and discuss what they found—gave the exhibition its energy.
Thank you to The Brutalist and everyone who spent time with the work. The full exhibited collection is linked in bio.

On 20 July 1969, Neil Armstrong stepped from Eagle onto the Moon—a moment remembered as one giant leap for mankind.

Blitzway’s quarter-scale sculpture holds the landing as one connected scene: Armstrong, the ladder, the spacecraft structure, lunar ground, and the first footprint. Armstrong has already reached the surface; the footprint remains visible in front as the figure moves forward.

Up close, each detail receives its own attention: the miniature Omega Speedmaster, printed glove checklist, boot clasps, complete life-support system, printed markings, layered covers, ports, Velcro, fabric-to-fitting transition, and safety tether. Pull back, and those details return to the whole: Armstrong, Eagle, and the first human trace on the lunar surface.

Apollo 11, reconstructed at quarter scale.

Before Nebula, there was just an obsession.

Ferrofluid was one of the first things I couldn’t stop thinking about.

A substance that felt alive.
A material that made me believe products could say more than function ever could.

One of the places BOLTBOLT began.

A little piano.
A little coffee.
And a spine in hand.

From bones to porcelain —
even a skeleton knows good design.

Yohohoho.

BOLTBOLT presented Unapologetic Frequencies - a show that brought two sculptural tech objects into conversation: one tuned inward, one built to project outward.

The First Look + Official Launch featured:

ROCK by — a powerful, portable ape-shaped speaker with serious bass and big personality. Built to travel, built to turn heads, built to fill the room.

S1 — the world’s first AI-powered intimate device designed for women, exploring autonomy, fantasy, and sensation.

ESCAPE THE GAZE. TUNE INTO SELF.

—

Thank you to everyone who joined us. The energy in the room was intentional, curious, and open.

If you missed the opening, feel free to come by for the next two weeks for in-person product demos and private viewings at BOLTBOLT (Gallery).
