On this day in 1990, Tugs Director / Co-Creator, David Mitton, took Ten Cents, Sunshine, Big Mac, Top Hat and Zorran to National Waterways Museum Gloucester for a TUGS Weekend at the Museum, which featured his own Tugboats, Kennet and Thomas!

This week's feature is a Sunshine Appreciation post - featuring the character in his original Up River livery prior to him joining the Star Fleet.

Says a lot for the ambition of the Clearwater team, given that they had not had opportunity to repaint the characters in Thomas throughout their run (owing to sets and block filming schedules), but took advantage of the opportunity with Tugs and the new way of doing things.
