L’Anima Enigma, a new exhibition by Sebastian Brajkovic, brings together a series of works exploring the space between furniture and sculpture.

Working with bronze, stainless steel and glass Brajkovic transforms familiar forms into objects that appear fluid and in motion. The contrast between the weight of the material and the lightness of the forms gives the works their distinctive tension, challenging the boundaries between function and form.

David Gill Gallery is delighted to announce L’Anima Enigma, a new exhibition by Sebastian Brajkovic, opening this Saturday.

Bringing together 18 new works, the exhibition explores Brajkovic’s distinctive dialogue between Classicism and the human condition. From sculptural guéridons to sinuous banquettes, each work inhabits the space between function and fantasy, tradition and transformation, where familiar forms are reimagined into something entirely unexpected.

A curated selection of pieces brings together Barnaby Barford’s Mirror ‘Air’, paired with Mattia Bonetti’s Coffee Table ‘Spheres’. Barbara Nanning ‘Go with the Flow’ and ‘Snow White’ vases from her 2024 collection add a delicate yet sculptural presence.

Bonetti’s Side Table ‘Bonbon’ introduces playful, harmonious colours, balancing Fredrikson Stallard’s avant-garde ‘Species III’ Armchair. Above, Sebastian Brajkovic’s ‘Mathematician #02’ lightens the space, bringing together contrasting forms, textures and materials in a considered composition.
