A Marilyn Moment.
As we celebrate 100 years of Marilyn Monroe’s legacy, we reflect on a legacy that remains as captivating today as it was during her lifetime.
What made Marilyn so timeless? More than a Hollywood icon, she became a symbol of beauty, vulnerability, glamour and reinvention. Her image transcended film, evolving into one of the most recognisable and enduring faces in popular culture. Equal parts star, mystery and myth, Marilyn continues to inspire artists, photographers and audiences across generations.
And where has the time gone? These photographs were taken during our Russell Young exhibition at our King’s Road Gallery in Chelsea in 2014, yet they feel as relevant today as ever.
Few figures have left such an indelible mark on art, fashion and culture. Never has a star been so recognisable, mysterious and timeless.

Sophisticated but family friendly- an aesthetic the designer achieved thanks to a palette of textured neutrals, sumptuous materials and a wonderful salon hang of contemporary artworks.
